Vinpower Digital introduces the RipBox Optical Disc (CD, DVD, BD) copy and ripping stations based on the Cube series duplicators. The RipBox units are automated systems with a robotic transport arm that connects to a computer via USB. They can be operated through various software applications like Vinpower’s BPR 2000 Lite, a third party freeware (i.e. ImgBurn), or even through the users own proprietary operation software that can be adapted to controller the RipBox units through an SDK with Vinpower.
The RipBox devices are perfect for archival of important documents and information, ripping items from a disc onto a server or computer, information overflow such as copying video content from surveillance cameras before the HDD fills up and starts to overwrite itself, and so much more. Whether you use the RipBox frequently or only occasionally, it’s compact casing and hidden disc carriage allows the unit to be out of the way and readily available when needed.

What LightScribe is
LightScribe is an innovative technology that uses a special disc drive, special media, and label-making software to burn labels directly onto CDs and DVDs.
Because the labels are laser-etched-not printed-there's no ink, no smudging, and no peeling.
Your labels can be whatever you want them to be. Create one-of-a-kind designs with your own photos, text, and artwork or choose from the many free backgrounds provided using the special edition Template Labeler software included with every LightScribe capable duplicator. You may also visit LightScribe's Template Label Gallery, or the Label Gallery for free downloadable designs.
|
| How Lightscribe Works: |
1. Design and save your disc label using BPR2000 Lite’s CD Label Designer.
2. Load LightScribe capable discs with the label side down in the input bin until it is full or until the required output is met.
3. Create a print job with the previously designed disc label.
4. The robotic arm will load the discs into all available drives and burn your LightScribe label directly onto the discs.
5. After the printing process is complete, the robotic arm will remove all finished labeled discs from the drives and place the successfully printed discs into the output bin.
6. The loading and unloading process will repeat until the system meets the required number of printed discs or the unit runs out of new discs to print on.
7. Remember, the same drive that burns your label burns your data, too.

Benefits of the LightScribe (LS) RipBox:
The RipBox is an inexpensive PC controlled automated system that allows a user to burn content from a PC or rip content onto a PC. One added benefit to the system is that the RipBox can be LightScribe capable. Utilizing the LightScribe labeling feature will allow the user to label LightScribe capable media with text and/or images of their own design and choosing with monochrome near photo quality printing. That way, the burned discs can be labeled without wasting money on costly ink or thermal ribbon. So if someone is looking for the true cost effective solution of burning and/or labeling discs, using the LightScribe capable RipBox is the right start!
