The drive connects your computer via USB 2.0/3.0 cables, and is capable of reading and writing DVD and CD! The Plextor 24X DVD/CD Super Multi Writer was put through a stringent testing procedure to ensure better compatibility across nearly all media brands available today. It also incorporates new improved chassis design to tremendously reduce noise and greatly improve writing quality. At 24X speed, air flow can cause bothersome acoustic noise.
